The Policy and Procedure Writer is responsible for composing and maintaining the company’s compliance policies and procedures.


Job Details:

  • This is a full-time, permanent position.
  • Benefits include PTO, medical, dental, vision, 401K, STD/LTD, and life insurance.

  • Weekly schedule will be the following:
    • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm


  • Create and maintain clear and concise policy and procedure documentation to promote compliance with company, client, and legal requirements
  • Review policies and procedures for accuracy and make recommendation for adjustments based on client and company workflows and regulatory changes
  • Assist various operations and shared services departments with composing policies and procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of all CEANNATE and client-specific security requirements as well as all laws and regulations pertaining to debt collection including but not limited to FDCPA, Privacy Act, GLBA, EFTA, ECOA, DODD Frank, FCRA, and pertinent state and federal laws
  • Ensure policy and procedures are entered and tracked in our internal document retention system.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and participate in other professional development initiatives to develop and maintain industry and regulatory knowledge
  • Perform other duties as required


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English preferred
  • Two (2+) plus years of experience in a corporate environment with general knowledge of the accounts receivables industry, relevant financial service compliance or technical writing experience required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Practices Management System (PPMS) knowledge preferred

  • Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hand and arms
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
  • At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected
  • Ability to travel as needed to company subsidiaries, or potential acquires to conduct due diligence
