The sourcer is responsible for targeting and engaging active and passive candidates through resume database searches and job post responses.  In addition the sourcer provides administrative and clerical support to the Recruiting Department.  Conduct phone screens and email campaigns to qualify candidates based on minimum qualifications and company culture.  Move candidates forward in the consideration process and schedule interviews.  Assist with interview work flow: greeting candidates, application and testing set up, notifying Interview Managers, track and report candidate paperwork. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source passive candidates through Boolean queries and referrals
  • Follow up with qualified applicants from job postings
  • Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job/career opportunities within the organization.
  • Utilize the ATS to move candidates through the correct workflows
  • Meet daily requirements for calls, phone screens and schedules
  • Schedule 6-8 candidates per day
  • Screen candidates for minimum qualifications, availability, interest level, salary range
  • Coordinate and report testing and paperwork of candidate
  • Track and report candidate paperwork
  • Promote and maintain compliance with EEO and OFCCP standards
  • Provide clerical support as needed: filing, organizing applicant folders, scanning and printing
  • Communicate with Sr. Recruiter and Recruiting team on a daily basis to understand expectations
  • Assist with New Hire administrative tasks
    • Organize packets, create spreadsheets to inform company of new hires and Creation Forms of IS, submit and track criminal and government backgrounds, conduct touch point calls
  • Assist at Reception when needed
  • Offer strategic suggestions to improve Recruiting process
  • Performs other duties as required by management.


Education and Experience:  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Associate’s degree required. Candidate may substitute a High School Diploma and a minimum of two years sourcing experience.
  • Proficiency with Boolean searches with various resume databases
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple interruptions and meet deadlines
  • Cooperative team player in a diverse working environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
