  • Overview

    The Information Security Analyst primary job role is to reduce risk to all Ceannate Corp. and its subsidiaries' information security by evaluating, monitoring and enforcing on information security controls. Ideal candidate should have proficient technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and a wide range of security technologies, such as network security appliances, Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, anti-malware solutions, automated policy compliance tools, and desktop security tools.


    Job Details:

    • This is a full-time, permanent position.
    • Benefits include the following:

    • Weekly schedule will be the following:
      • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm


    • Assist in design, implement and maintain technical security programs including Vulnerability and Threat Management, Data Loss Prevention, Security Event Monitoring and Response program
    • Ensure security of the IT infrastructure, conduct periodic reviews of user IDs, protect the confidentiality and integrity of information, maintain the technical mechanisms and corresponding legitimate access
    • Using third party tools, participate in the performance of internal and external penetration testing to identify and address information system security vulnerability
    • Analyze available data sources to identify trends and make recommendations to enhance network, system and data security
    • Perform accurate and precise real-time analysis and correlation of logs/alerts from a multitude of devices with a focus on the determination of whether said events constitute security incidents
    • Provide incident response support and identify and prioritize potential threats
    • Perform system monitoring, system auditing, and integrity check functions daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually as dictated in Information Security policies – Recurring IS Task List
    • Complete and deliver complex security reports to management in business terms
    • Lead the monitoring of the infrastructure security and ensure secure user access
      • Event logging appliances and software
      • Access security badge keycard systems
      • Closed circuit cameras and digital video recorder (CCTV)
      • IDS sensors, firewall and VPN systems
    • Assist in maintaining Information Security Document Library
    • Assist with the achievement of PCI, SSAE and FISMA certifications
    • Perform additional duties as assigned

    Education and Experience:

    • Experience in performing information security tools including but not limited to security scanning vulnerability scanner, penetration testing tools, end point security, antivirus software, etc.
    • Experience in network security monitoring, security device administration and management
    • Experience in Network and Security Operation Center environment (NOC/SOC)
    • Experience in configuring Network Equipment (switches, firewalls, and routers) and Servers with a detailed understanding of security configurations.
    • Experience configuring intrusion detection systems (IDS) and security event and incident Monitoring systems (SIEM)
    • Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology or Information Security related field is required.
    • Security certification preferred: CCNA, CEH, ComTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.
    • Prior security experience in the following areas:
      • Security Policies and Procedures
      • Infrastructure Security
      • Application and Database Security
      • Incident Response program
      • Security Administration
      • Assessments, audits and certifications


    Language Skills:

    • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

    • At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required. Holiday hours may be required based on business needs.
