  • Overview

    The Technical Implementation Manager is responsible for the successful onboarding of IonTuition clients and associated channel partners. This includes planning and coordinating client and cross-functional operations and technology teams to support setup, implementation, and maintenance. Reporting to the Vice President of IonTuition, this individual owns technical implementation and operations processes to achieve successful and seamless client-process management.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate technical requests from clients with development
    • Work with internal resources and external vendors to ensure successful onboarding of clients
    • Ensure successful maintenance of client processes, identifying opportunities and challenges alongside Relationship Manager
    • Work with Relationship Manager, Technology, and Operations to identify, implement, test, and deploy change orders in support of evolving client and product needs
    • Participate in client calls/communication and support client services in technical needs
    • Facilitate technical implementations with clients and partners including Single Sign-On (SSO), eligibility file/feed integrations, and other integrations; and if applicable, customization of platform(s) pre- and post-launch
    • Work with product experts to identify and define processes to streamline onboarding and maintenance efforts with clients, IT Operations, and intake teams
    • Maintain and create documentation with Technology team to support cross-functional teams’ involvement with client onboarding and maintenance, including user onboarding
    • Manage project teams to implement product changes and work to ensure time and budget are maintained
    • Coordinate product launches for multiple internal and external products with Application Support and Development Support
    • Work with multiple teams amid complex requirements to facilitate successful product launches
    • Coordinate QA teams to ensure that releases match business requirement

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Advanced degree (or equivalent education and experience) in Engineering, Computer Science, a hard science degree or relevant analytic or scientific discipline and programming knowledge
    • Familiar with application development practices; enterprise software development knowledge is a plus
    • Understanding of project lifecycles and project principles; PMP certification is a plus
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies e.g. SCRUM, Agile, Waterfall certifications is a plus
    • Familiar with issue tracking and project management software; Experience with JIRA is a plus
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
    • Experience with Payroll, HRIS, voluntary benefit, or similar systems is a plus
    • Ability to manage numerous tasks across multiple projects to completion amid competing priorities
    • Occasional travel required
