  • Overview

    The Client Success Manager is responsible for developing mutually-beneficial relationships with IonTuition’s clients. This individual owns the client relationship from contract signing through implementation, sheparding programs to a steady state while achieving a robust, long-term engagement.  

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the relationship between IonTuition and its employer channel clients, ensuring the long-term success of the engagement
    • Develop and execute strategies independently and with cross-functional teams to increase employee engagement
    • Work with internal and external marketing teams to support effective client and employee communications
    • Monitor usage and user behavior, providing reporting and analysis to clients as well as to internal teams to inform product and marketing initiatives
    • Participate in regular calibration meetings with clients to understand and ensure progress towards company and client goals
    • Work with business development, marketing, and sales teams to identify upsell opportunities, ideal references, case studies, speaking engagements, or similar opportunities
    • Lend client service expertise in pre-sale scenarios
    • Work with payment processing and counseling operations to inform process improvements and case manage employee issues to resolution
    • Assist clients and internal partners with product knowledge and training activities and materials
    • Participate in open enrollment or equivalent off-cycle enrollment events in-person or virtually
    • Support school-channel account managers by providing IonTuition product expertise and best practices
    • Develop and maintain broad product knowledge to best align solutions with client needs
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, translating knowledge into best practice recommendations and processes that add value to relationships

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years of experience in client services, account management or similar client success role
    • Familiarity with CRM systems; Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
    • Ability to manage numerous tasks to completion across multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities
    • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel and/or Google Analytics skills is plus
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Background in Benefits, Voluntary Benefits, Total Rewards, HR or Payroll preferred
    • Occasional travel required
